What can I say? We snorkeled for several hours and didn't want to leave.
We had to get back to our
hotel to get cleaned up because of the xbxrx show that was to start around
6:00 pm. I knew the boys
wouldn't play until the end, but I didn't want to miss any of the bands while
we were in Hawaii. Hanauma
Bay is beautiful with it's clear water and reef system. There were, of course,
some idiots there that would
stand on the reef, and at one point a park employee did yell at them to "get
OFF the reef"! If you are good
at snorkeling you can go above the reef even in the most shallow of water
to get to a fish you want to see.
Please be careful though and not touch the reef, since it is a living reef
and eco-system.
Here's a photograph I took of Rich.
