The photograph on the right is the far right tip of the bay, just past the Witches
Brew area. You can see the impact of the sea against the
cliff. On this day the Witches Brew was closed due to the rough seas. It was
very overcast and not a very pretty day at all. The Toilet
Bowl was also closed this day. Richard took the photograph on the right.
In the photograph on the left you can see the impact of the sea against the
"Witches Brew" area. It was closed to the public when we took
this photograph. Rich had taken several really good photographs of me with very
large splashes high above my head, however I screwed up
the film and ended up double exposing several of the photographs. That day the
Witches Brew was open to the public too!
Taken from the Rainbow Helicopter Tour on Thursday April 26, 2001.
Koko Head Crater is seen just above Hanauma Bay in this photograph.
Also taken from the helicopter on April 26, 2001. I did have to fight some glare
on the windows, sorry. The photo on the left
has a nice view of the Koko Head Crater as well as Hanauma Bay.
Chris, Steve and Rich (standing) at Hanauma Bay Beach.
My boys!! Too bad this was a nasty day, beautiful blue skies would have made
both of these photographs perfect.
Sunday April 29 11:00 am. The photo on the right you can see the Witches Brew
sticking out at the top left.
Here's Rich at the Witches Brew on Friday April 27, 2001.
