There are far too many plants and trees that I saw to take photos of them all.
Otherwise all I would have been doing was taking photographs of plants and trees.
Enjoy the few I did get photos of...........

Pineapple bud at the Dole Plantation.

I don't know what type of cactus flower this is but it's really
cool looking. It looks like a starfish. I took this shot at the
Makapu'u Coast about halfway up to the Makapu'u Lighthouse.
We also saw the same type of flower inside the Diamond Head Crater
which is the photograph below.

India Banyan Trees are really cool trees. Check out the way the root
system grows on these trees. The Banyan tree below is along Waikiki Beach
while the one above is beside the King Kamehameha I statue. I saw one of
these trees that was almost a city block in size, really big!!

Notice the tree trunk above the roots that has
been cut off. This is along the Waikiki Beach front.

A Hawaiian guide I asked said they call these trees "Sausage Trees" because of the way the buds grow. The "vines" have large
buds on the bottom of them (if someone hasn't already taken it). This tree is at the Kapiolani Park at Waikiki Beach. Both photographs
are of the same tree in the park.

Palms are everywhere along the coast.

More palms.

A tree at the 'Iolani Palace.
